Day 18 - Stability

In this session, we practice creating stability in the body and mind. This can help us feel confident among the challenges of life.

Rooting down and centering, moving slowly with focus, and rising up with intent trains the mind and the body.

We start to groove new patterns in our movements and in our minds. This gives us the ability to build on the foundation of mindfulness and presence that we have been cultivating this whole time.

Remember to be patient with progress. Sometimes you may experience great bounds and leaps on your journey, but most of the time is a gradual process.

Patience and tolerance are developed for ourselves.

This allows us to be more patient and tolerant of others.

This is one of the gifts of tai chi.

“Like tiny seeds with potent power to push through tough ground and become mighty trees, we hold innate reserves of unimaginable strength. We are resilient.”
― Catherine DeVrye, The Gift of Nature
